Gospel at Home

The Gospel at Home is a periodic meeting with family to study The Gospel According to the Spiritism and to pray together giving everyone the opportunity to reconnect and create a peaceful and harmonious home environment.

Gospel at Home Guidelines:

1- Choose a day and time to have the Gospel at Home. Be consistent.

2- If possible, choose a calm place at home and soften the ambience with pleasant music.

3- Fill a container with water and place it near the meeting area, where it will be magnetized by the good spirits. 

4- Start the Gospel at Home by reading a short passage from a book with spiritist messages, such as “Pathway, the Truth & Life” or “Our Daily Bread”, etc. 

5- After the intitial reading, make a simple and spontaneous prayer asking for help from the Superior Spirituality;

6- Read a sequential or random topic from the book Gospel According to the Spiritism and explain it, with the purpose that all present give their opinions about the theme during the meeting. Avoid discussions and controversy. This is a moment for harmonization and balance.

7- End the meeting with a thankful prayer for the spiritual reunion in family; the assistance of the Spiritual Mentors, thanking them for their protection; health and harmony in the home. You may also pray:

For peace on Earth;

For the implementation and exercise of the Gospel in every home;

For the healing and recovery of all those sick in body or spirit;

For the constant encouragement to those working for truth and goodness;

For the enlightenment and protection of your home, family and friends;

8- In a peaceful attitude, share the magnetized water among those present at the meeting.
